REXSTEP HI-TORQUE STEPPER MOTORS

Get a Geckodrive G201 for $99 with purchase of any motor!

Rexstep Motors stand out with their superior power to weight ratio due to the square frame design combined with the best materials and most up-to-date processes in stepper technology.

All motors are 4-lead parallel configured, 2-phase, 1.8 degree step angle.

Design Considerations:

1. Select a torque size with a 100% safety factor for torque output at given speeds.

2. Do not set ramping speed faster than the motor's ability to accelerate load.

3. Do not connect or diconnect motor unless system power is off.

4. Do not use the motor's bearing to support drive screws in place of a proper bearing block.

5. When direct driving a drive screw, select a coupler with shaft misalignment allowance.

6. For best heat disappation, bolt motor to an aluminum mounting plate.

7. Limit motor current to rated current per phase for smoother stepping operation.

8. Do not disassemble the motor. This will degrade torque output and step smoothness.

9. Do not attempt to modify the shaft without first consulting us for guidelines.
